Via Castellana Bandiera awarded Best Soundtrack at 70th Venice Film Festival

Amiata Records won the Soundtrack Stars Award for Best Soundtrack at the 70th edition of the Venice Film Festival

Amiata Records proudly clinched the prestigious Soundtrack Stars Award for Best Soundtrack during the 70th edition of the Venice Film Festival. The winning film, “Via Castellana Bandiera,” directed by Emma Dante, showcased mesmerizing music from our album “Bella Maria,” composed by the talented Fratelli Mancuso.

“Bella Maria” lifts its anchor in a sea of sand and clay, travelling through villages and along roads unchartered by the commonplace navigator. On their voyage, the Fratelli Mancuso unveil vestiges left by men gone by, gently blowing on the layers of clay dust that hide them. Not only do they depict the open-air theater of Sicily in all its imagery, customs and traditions, but also the Sicily that becomes a meeting place for a myriad of musical realities.

This accolade not only celebrates the exceptional work of the filmmakers but also highlights the remarkable contributions of our artists in shaping the immersive cinematic experience.
