In the Mirror of Time

 9.00 20.00

In the Mirror of Time, sheds new light on a masterpiece of European classical music, Franz Schubert’s quintet, The Trout.

The art of interpretation in the mirror of time: the great Viennese pianist Paul Badura Skoda offers us two interpretations of the same piece, played 39 years apart.
The first is taken from a historical recording made in 1958, and the second was recorded in Vienna in 1997.
It is remarkable to hear how the early interpretation of the young pianist is intimately tied to the one recorded 39 years later.

A unique and unparalleled disc for collectors.
A 2-disc set.
