Tarantella Tarantata

Since early childhood Antonio Infantino and the Tarantolati of Tricarico have assimilated the musical forms of their native region, the Basilicata, as well as the capacity to distinguish the context in which these sounds, colors and dances should be practised.

With their musical instruments, the Tarantolati create an energy vortex akin to “Animistic Possession,” which draws from archaic roots and irradiates outwards without losing any of its primordial strength, energy, and enthrallingly hypnotic effect.
