The mysterious timelessness of the traditional music of Laos transports the listener to far-away lands with its serene melodies and minimal, trance-like sequences.

This is an incredibly rich recording of one of the most representative Ensembles of Laos.
Traditional Laotian music is something of a specialty in relation to the music of the surrounding countries: its melodies are generally polyphonic making it unique in South East Asia.

A musical tradition to discover, very ancient and yet very modern for us.
